Get started

Veridenti fills your forms and logins, keeps your passwords in an encrypted vault, and watches for scams — all on your device. Setting up takes about a minute.

NoteWork account? If your employer set up Veridenti, you'll Sign in with SSO instead of creating a vault — the same login you use for work email. See the Admin guide. The rest of this guide is for personal use.

1. Install and pin it

Install the Veridenti extension for Chrome, Edge, or Firefox, then pin it so it's one click away. Open it once and follow the short welcome tour — you can replay it anytime from the ⋮ menu → Help & Tips.

2. Create your vault

Your vault is the encrypted place your logins and details live. It's protected by one master password that only you know.

  1. Click the Veridenti icon in your toolbar.
  2. On the Create your Vault screen, type a master password into Choose a strong password, then again into Confirm password. Use at least 8 characters — longer is stronger.
  3. Click Create Vault.
WarningYour master password is never stored or sent anywhere — that's what makes Veridenti zero-knowledge. If you forget it and haven't turned on Cloud Sync (which gives you a recovery key), your vault can't be recovered by anyone, including us. Pick something memorable and keep it safe.

3. Unlock and lock

When the vault is locked, click the icon, enter your master password on Enter your master password to unlock, and click Unlock Vault. Veridenti locks itself after 15 minutes of inactivity by default — change this under Settings → Auto-lock (from 5 minutes up to 1 hour, or only when you close the browser).
