What's new

Updates to Veridenti and this documentation. Docs v1.3.

August 25, 2026
  • Extension v3.5.2 — a stability, autofill-reliability, and memory-safety release.
  • Lower memory use. Fixed a leak that could grow the browser’s memory over a long session on form- and ad-heavy pages, plus new internal limits that keep the extension light.
  • Autofill works on more sites. Fixed a case where autofill silently did nothing on some marketing and giveaway pages.
  • More reliable sweepstakes entries. Trivia answers, checkboxes, and multiple-choice (radio) selections now save dependably on entry forms that reload when you submit — and are re-applied on your next visit, even on sites that rebuild their form each time.
  • Search boxes are no longer remembered — a term you searched once won’t be re-typed into the search bar on later visits.
  • Suggested passwords always meet the site’s rules (and are never all-numbers).
  • Autofill no longer over-fills invite / “add people” forms. On a page that adds a new blank row each time one is filled (some invite, CC, or “add people” tables), autofill could keep entering your email into row after row; it now recognizes the pattern and stops. Manual fill via the Veridenti icon still works.
  • Delete your account and data yourself, anytime. A new self-service page at veridenti.com/account/delete permanently removes your account and its encrypted vault (also available in the mobile apps under Security → Delete account). Personal-scope only — organization-managed shared vaults are controlled by your admin and are handled through offboarding, not here.
  • “Talk to Sales” is now a proper contact form instead of an email link, so enterprise inquiries reach us reliably.

  • Support tickets & SLAs: open tickets from the console with priority-based response targets (urgent 4h · high 8h · normal 24h · low 48h). You can Mark as Resolved and Reopen your own tickets; a reply on a resolved ticket reopens it and notifies support; idle tickets warn at ~4 days and auto-close at 7 (always reopenable). See Support & incident notifications.
  • Incident Notifications: maintain a recipient list — a distribution address and/or picked members, each scoped to All or Major/P1-only — emailed on ticket/incident open and on incidents affecting your residency zone.
  • Data Residency, reorganized: the screen now has three tabs — Overview (default regions), Migrations (Move a Vault + the Residency Compliance table), and Continuity & DR (live region status, DR replicas, RPO/RTO, Break-Glass).
  • Offboarding, round-trip: the offboard confirmation spells out what happens (data retained, access severed — member key deleted + shared key rotated — and a warning if the member held a recovery share). Offboarded members show an Offboarded state and can be brought back with Re-invite (account re-enabled, role restored, fresh enrollment code). Re-enrolling does not restore shared-vault access — see the new re-granting guide.
  • Access reviews: promoting a member to a privileged role while a review is open now automatically adds them to that review for attestation.
  • Docs: new Support & incident notifications article, a how-to on re-granting shared-vault access (zero-knowledge: a current key-holder re-shares from their extension), and new FAQ entries.

  • Member provisioning with enrollment codes: invite members using reusable codes — one at a time, in bulk, or exported to CSV for your MDM. Each code binds a device to the right role and scope.
  • Custom roles & permissions: a data-driven Roles editor to grant or restrict each capability per role, with owner-locked floors so core controls can’t be removed.
  • Scoped delegation: delegate an admin or auditor to a region, department, or directory group — they see and manage only their cohort.
  • Credential remediation policies: set weak, reused, and breached passwords to Off / Nudge / Require / Enforce in the console; extension enforcement ships with the next update.
  • Org Recovery hardening: recovery now requires a two-officer quorum (no single-admin recovery), an optional “require Org Recovery before enrollment” policy, and an offboarding flag when a departing member held a recovery share.
  • New resources: Work vs Personal — Data Governance (the browser-profile boundary and the GDPR Article 88 answer) and the Deployment Hardening Guide; plus refreshed security diagrams across the resource docs.

  • Extension v3.3.
  • Check for breached passwords (Leak Radar): an opt-in, privacy-preserving check (k-anonymity — only a partial hash ever leaves your device) that flags saved passwords found in known breaches, with a guided one-click fix. See Check for breached passwords.
  • Your devices: see, rename, and sign out the browsers syncing your account — plus sign-out-everywhere — under Settings → Security & sync. See Manage your devices.
  • Enterprise console redesign: a board-ready Human-Risk gauge, an audit activity histogram with click-to-filter, coverage rings and 30-day trend sparklines, a member slide-over drawer, branded confirmations, and a fully responsive layout.
  • Fix: the “reload the tab” version banner that could persist even after updating.

  • Extension v3.3.
  • Enterprise console — Devices & sessions: see every member’s enrolled browsers (type, version, OS, last seen) with one-click sign-out, plus a fleet-wide devices report.
  • Searchable audit log: filter the hash-chained trail by action, actor, target, and date range, with CSV export.
  • Clearer Roles & Policies: every policy is now a segmented control (Off / Optional / Required) — all states visible at a glance.
  • Human-Risk dashboard preview: teams not yet on Enterprise see a clearly-labeled sample so they know what’s included.
  • Enrollment domain guardrail: restrict non-SSO device enrollment to your approved company domains.
  • Fixes: governed features now apply cleanly with no flash on open, and enrolled devices stay enrolled reliably.
August 5, 2026
  • Launched the public help center: Admin guide + End-user guide (19 articles).
  • Added Security & architecture, Compliance, Data residency, and Rolling-out-to-your-team guides.
  • Full-text search (⌘K), on-this-page navigation, typed callouts, and Save-as-PDF.
