Docs End-user guide Import your passwords

Import your passwords

Why

Moving to Veridenti shouldn't mean re-typing years of logins. Import brings them in from your old password manager or browser in a couple of minutes.

What you can import from

Veridenti reads exports from most managers and browsers — including Chrome, Edge, Brave, Safari, Firefox, 1Password, LastPass, Bitwarden, Proton Pass, NordPass, Dashlane, Keeper, RoboForm, and any other CSV or JSON file (columns are auto-detected). Your 2FA (TOTP) codes come along too, and duplicates are skipped.

How to import

  1. Open the import page from the ⋮ menu → Import passwords….
  2. Choose your old app in the grid — Veridenti shows the exact export steps for it (for example, Chrome: Passwords → ⋮ → Export passwords (CSV)).
  3. Export the file from your old app, then come back and drop it into Bring the file here (or paste the contents).
  4. Click Parse & preview and check the results.
  5. Click Import into my vault.
TipAfter a successful import, delete the exported file from your computer — it's an unencrypted copy of your passwords. Then fix any weak or reused ones; Password health shows which matter most.
